A pretty apt poem for 2012, what with the apocalyptic sentiments and all!

Amazing how despite being written decades ago these lines are still so relevant today. That tense tussle between hope and horrific reality - between innocence and loss - this could have been written yesterday, even about something like the recession and today's government woes...
