Turn the coin, face the mirror, watch the sheer horror
distort your face when you realize you’re put in the place
where the merciless must be shown mercy.
Stand short, stay here to listen, and lend an ear
to the pain of the Pharisee who stands tall
in the temple and screams falsity of self
because his reality got put on the shelf
when the children he neglected were raped
and robbed of the innocence only he could have saved.
Turn ‘round, bend the knee, reach out the hand to these
broken folds and selfish sheep with face in the grass
and minds bent on hoarding their wool from the
shivering, naked wretches of the world.
this is aweseome, powerful imagery - keep rallying us
