Nathan Smith

At first glance, it sounds very melancholy, but there is a certain aspect of expectancy there as well. Much like one would feel after a break-up, there is the initial sense of the world caving in, but the last lines also seem to hint at a resolve to carry on in life, even though it may be fragile.

I think these would be good lyrics for a song, but nothing springs to mind for a genre. Definitely something soft, understated. Either that, or something angry sounding, perhaps because of self-loathing over a mistake that's been made.
