This is crazy. How does one go about posting poetry somewhere other than the "comments" page, which is probably not where this was supposed to go. Thanks.
Entice me and ravage me, o sweet prince,
upon the altar of your burning love.
Take me to depths below and heights above
until I have fulfilled my sweet penance.
I will consume your food and drink your wine
and be cleansed from what so easily pollutes.
I will feast upon your most ripened fruit
and satisfy myself on love divine.
Why must you ascend so swiftly sweet prince?
For within your arms my soul is raptured.
I cannot bear such a quick departure;
I shall lose all myself, my life, my sense.
Return to me and entice me with love,
or take me where you are in heights above.

We're working on a great description of what this site is and what we hope it can become. For now, we will simply claim that we're a community of writers and readers, believers and skeptics who are wrestling with life and faith through the medium of poetry. All students, faculty, alumni, and friends of ATS are welcomed to join the conversation.
Submissions
If you have poems you want to submit, or have ideas for ways to help our community grow, please send them to [email protected] . We'd love to post your poems, and any feedback and creative ideas are welcomed!
